VISTA Donor Engagement Coordinator (YWCA)

Jumpstart your professional experience and help an organization that focuses on providing homeless housing services to women and women with children. You'll steward the volunteer program by; facilitating volunteer activities while developing and coordinating volunteer recognition best practices. You'll also assist in developing and executing a mission-driven fundraiser. Plan and implement house party fundraising activities, deliver mission moments, train others to assist in growing the house party model into a sustainable source of income. You'll have the chance to support donor stewardship activities, donor events, and outreach (electronically and in person.)You will aid in grant writing endeavors by helping to gather and compile data across all programs for use in grant projects and donor relations. Grant research, and planning and collaborative writing is a possibility.

VISTA Development Coordinator (Community Choice)

Jumpstart your professional experience and help underserved community member’s access resources in North Central Washington.  You’ll have the chance to build on local outreach efforts for Washington 2-1-1, a call center for health and human service information and referrals and other assistance to meet their needs. You’ll increase the reach of this resource by developing a regional volunteer outreach program, online 2-1-1 onboarding tools and trainings to complement the outreach efforts, and a marketing campaign to increase the brand awareness of the 2-1-1 resource.

VISTA Development Coordinator (Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council)

Jumpstart your professional experience and join an established non-profit in helping people and changing lives.  You’ll develop a plan to maintain an online presence on multiple social media platforms.  You’ll have the chance to create volunteer best practices for the organization including: recruitment plans, orientations, manuals, and volunteer recognitions. The efforts will aid the online thrift store that offers basic needs to low-income individuals at affordable prices while simultaneously increasing unrestricted funds to the agency to support programs and administration of those programs.  You’ll also be able to research opportunities for gaining financial, in-kind and other support to the agency as well as creating a catalog of best practices for fundraising, to include examples of appeal letters, donation solicitations, events, etc. that can be referred to by staff/volunteers.

VISTA Community Engagement Coordinator- Women’s Resource Center

Jumpstart your professional experience and help build an organization's capacity to serve individuals and families experiencing poverty and homelessness at the Women’s Resource Center.  You’ll create awareness about Women’s Resource Center by maintaining and updating its website and social media presence. You’ll develop plans to strengthen volunteer recruitment and management practices. Outreach opportunities will provide you with the chance to share about the work being done by the Women’s Resource Center and the needs of the community members it serves. You’ll also have the chance to increase donor involvement and retention practices by updating and a maintaining donor database, recognitions, and outreach efforts.

VISTA Hunger and Food Insecurity Fund and Volunteer Development Coordinator (Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council)

Jumpstart your professional experience and fight hunger in North Central Washington. Intermountain AmeriCorps is searching for a full time VISTA member to build capacity in the food insecurity work being done by Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council. You will focus on increasing the scale and reach of programs that center on addressing food insecurity and hunger in the community with programs such as the Green Bag and Empty Bowls programs. These national grassroots efforts have been localized to make a difference in North Central Washington. You would be recruiting community volunteers and providing them with meaningful experiences as well as strengthening partnerships with other organizations and stakeholders.

VISTA Program Development Specialist- Tierra Village

Jumpstart your professional experience and help an organization that provides housing and educational services for people with developmental disabilities in a collaborative, integrated and diverse community.  You’ll steward efforts to meet community needs by researching a local community needs assessment and presenting on demand of services for members of the developmentally disabled community in North Central Washington. You’ll also have the chance to identify locations, expenses, and staffing needs related to expansion opportunities.  You’ll develop relationships and resources with local government agencies and organizations. Through community outreach, you’ll have the chance to share with families about services and program expansions. You’ll research, identify, and collaboratively apply for grant opportunities relevant to the program.
