Julie started her journey with Intermountain AmeriCorps in 2000 as a member of the Teen Empowerment and Mentoring Program (TEMP) at the Alternative High School in Moses Lake. Julie serves as one of the Project Directors with Intermountain and is also the supervisor for the WRC team and the VISTA members. She handles member questions and concerns, and facilitates communication between site sponsors, teachers, and members.

5. I was a nanny in Boston for several years

Toby serves as one of the Project Directors with Intermountain AmeriCorps and is also the Service and Education Team Supervisor. Toby organizes, mentors, recruits and guides our dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic members that come to the Intermountain program. Toby does his best to make sure that members have a fulfilling year of service and assist them to do some amazing things with the youth, parents and communities they serve. Toby appreciates his job in that it enables him to spend time with people who want to come to North Central Washington to make a difference. At the end of the program year, Toby is glad to have the privilege of being able to say he has friends from all over the country.
10 and 1/2 THINGS ABOUT TOBY...
1. I love my job!
2. My beautiful wife is a teacher.
3. I have two little people living at my house (Two adorable boys)
4. There is never a dull moment at my house (See #3)
5. I worked in the funeral business for approximately 12 years before coming to Intermountain AmeriCorps
6. I was born in North Dakota, but spent the better part of my youth in Western Montana.
7. I love motorcycling and snowmobiling.
8. In my spare time, I enjoy reading Jon Krakauer and Joe Simpson books.

Anwen joined Intermountain as a SET member in 2005 and served two terms at Orchard and Pioneer middle schools in Wenatchee. She is the Recruitment Coordinator and Project Assistant, facilitating the application process for prospective members and supporting various projects throughout the year.
10 and 1/2 THINGS ABOUT ANWEN...
1. I was born in England.
2. I spent a year teaching English in China.
3. I have a little gray cat named Caracas.
4. I knitted a leash for my cat and have knitted many other interesting things.
5. I am the oldest of four.
6. I spent two years serving with Intermountain in local middle schools.
7. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area.
