Washington Service Corps (WSC)

Intermountain AmeriCorps is a Washington Service Corps AmeriCorps project.  Administered by the Employment Security Department, the WSC assists non-profit organizations and units of local government in addressing unmet community needs and providing young adults with meaningful service experiences. Since 1983 the WSC has partnered with hundreds of sponsor agencies across the state to engage the talents, energy and enthusiasm of thousands of young adults who have provided millions of hours of valuable service.


Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS)

The Corporation for National and Community Service provides opportunities for Americans of all ages and backgrounds to serve their communities and country through three programs: Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America. Members and volunteers serve with national and community nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, schools, and local agencies to help meet community needs in education, the environment, public safety, homeland security, and other critical areas. The Corporation is part of USA Freedom Corps, a White House initiative to foster a culture of citizenship, service, and responsibility, and help all Americans answer the President's Call to Service.


Washington State Commission for National and Community Service (WCNCS)

Washington State Commission for National and Community Service (WCNCS) is an independent, bipartisan organization. The Commission implements AmeriCorps programs in Washington; sets priorities for results-oriented community service programs; provides training and technical assistance; evaluates programs; and leverages federal program dollars with additional local, state and private sector resources. All programs build toward financial self-sufficiency, and the Commission has set quantifiable program goals which are evaluated according to rigorous accountability standards.


Chelan Douglas Community Action Council


Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council was created in 1965 as part of America’s War on Poverty. We are a private not-for-profit corporation serving the residents of Chelan and Douglas Counties. Our purpose is to assist individuals and families to move out of poverty into a lifestyle that promotes a safer and healthier living environment, leading to self-sufficiency. Community Action Council works with other social service agencies, public agencies, community organizations, businesses and churches to coordinate services.
