After we receive your application, we will contact you for an interview. To make the interview process easy for both in-state and out-of-state applicants, you can decide between doing an in-person interview or a video interview. Those doing video interviews are highly encouraged to send them as soon as possible.
Interviewing in Person
Applicants living in Washington or able to make it to Wenatchee choose this option. You will first interview with our staff in Wenatchee, and then interview with prospective sites if you and our program seem to be a good match. In-person interviews are generally group informational interviews followed by individual interviews.
Video Interview
Applicants from out of state go through our video interview process.
- First, be sure to watch our program video to get a better idea of who we are. If you are unable to view our video online, please contact us and we will mail you a video.
- Then, find a video camera and videotape yourself answering our interview questions.
- Mail your video on to us and we will be in touch with you soon.
- This video, along with your application, will then be passed on to sites that may be a good match to be reviewed. Sites may also contact you for a follow-up conversation.
Video Interviews may be submitted in VHS, Mini-DV, VHS-C, or DVD formats. Check with us first if you'd like to submit an interview in a different format.
