We hope that during our members' year of service that they have a chance to not only help their communities and sites they serve in but that they also have a chance to grow personally and professionally during their service term. We try and help members achieve this through what we call "Member Development".
Our program offers multiple training sessions to its members through out the first month of service and also through out their year of service. We even allow members to teach their fellow members what they know by stepping forward with their skills, talents and passions. We work with our members to try and make sure their year is successful by providing training geared to their service year and to their futures.

Some training we typically offer our members include: First Aid and CPR, Discipline Through Love and Logic, ESL Training, ROPES, Working with At-Risk Youth, Multiple Learning Styles, Resume and Interview Techniques, Conflict Resolution, Communicating Professionalism, Tutor Training, Classroom Management, Volunteer Recruitment Training, Leadership Training, Facilitation Skills, Issues of Culture and Diversity and multiple team building activities!
These training sessions help members be successful during their year of service and also help members get to know their fellow members!
